Objectives and Skills_
The Tech MBA at Paris School of Technology & Business is the first MBA in France fully dedicated to the Tech ecosystem. It aligns with international Tech MBAs offered in the United States (such as those at Cornell Johnson, Northwestern University, NYU Stern, and Berkeley Haas) and directly addresses market demand by training Digital Strategy Experts capable of leading digital transformation within companies and institutions, while combining strong expertise in both technology and business.
It meets the growing recruitment needs of the digital sector, estimated in France at between 270,000 and 300,000 positions by 2027 according to Numeum, and nearly 100 million jobs worldwide by 2025 according to the World Economic Forum.
The Tech MBA at PST&B is structured into 3 quarterly tracks:
- Business for Tech: enables graduates with a background in computer science or engineering to gain a strong understanding of the business environment within the Tech sector.
- Tech for Business: allows students with a management background to benefit from full immersion in topics ranging from artificial intelligence and technology product management to cybersecurity.
- Technology Leadership: prepares future Tech leaders to drive organizational change linked to technological innovation.
The Tech MBA takes place on a modern campus located in the heart of Paris, in the 11th arrondissement, close to the Silicon Sentier district. An international study trip is also organized each year, offering students immersive exposure to a Tech ecosystem in Asia, America, or Europe through one of our partner institutions.
This programme aims to equip experts with the skills and knowledge required to become leaders at the intersection of technology and business. It provides an in-depth understanding of both fields, along with the tools to innovate and lead in a digital world. This ensures effective coordination and informed leadership in the implementation of innovative digital strategies.
A unique three-trimester experience designed to bridge the gap between business and technology. Tailored for professionals who aspire to make a strategic impact, it prepares future leaders within Tech companies as well as within the IT divisions of major organizations.
A one-year cutting-edge programme. This forward-thinking curriculum offers an exceptional learning experience for future Tech Leaders. In addition to Tech and Business courses, students benefit from seminars with Cours Florent and professional Design Thinking workshops. Rather than focusing solely on traditional business case studies, the Tech MBA explores the real-world challenges and success stories of Tech companies.
Operating in a constantly evolving technological environment, the Business Strategy Consultant graduating from the Tech MBA at PST&B supports organizations in defining and implementing innovative strategies aligned with digital and technological challenges. They intervene across the entire transformation cycle, from needs analysis to the design of high value-added solutions, ensuring alignment between strategic vision and the operational deployment of Tech projects.
In this context, the main responsibilities of the Business Strategy Consultant (BSC) include:
- Needs analysis and development of tailored solutions
- Design and contractualization of consulting strategies
- Project management and monitoring of consulting assignments
- Management and development of an independent consulting activity
- Strategic monitoring and business development
Upon completion of the Tech MBA, you will have acquired the skills required to:
Business for Tech Track:
Block 1 - Advise on strategy for development or transformation projects.
Block 4 - Develop an entrepreneurial consulting activity.
Tech for Business Track:
Block 2 - Design a service or consulting offer in response to a client or prospect’s needs.
Technology Leadership Track:
Block 3 - Lead and manage consulting projects.
The Business Strategy Consultant carries out several activities:
- Market analysis, client needs assessment, and identification of key challenges
- Definition of solution pathways based on a client’s business issue
- Development of tailored solutions aligned with client objectives
- Presentation of the proposed strategy
- Preparation of a consulting support proposal within a strategic advisory mission
- Presentation of service offerings to stakeholders
- Contractualization of a strategic consulting assignment
- Project scoping for organizational transformation initiatives
- Cross-functional management and team support in project ownership assistance
- Project monitoring and reporting to clients
- Implementation of an entrepreneurial project as an independent consultant
- Establishment of economic, societal, technological, and regulatory monitoring systems
- Business development and expansion of partner and client networks
- Management of administrative and accounting operations as a freelancer, micro-entrepreneur, or company director
Assessment Methods_
The assessment methods include examinations designed to ensure a high level of quality in line with the standards of Paris School of Technology & Business.
In the Tech MBA:
The validation of competencies within the Tech MBA is structured around the following assessment formats:
- Block 1 - Professional simulation / Consulting project
- Block 2 - Professional simulation / Consulting project
- Block 3 - Professional simulation / Practical case based on real or fictional projects
- Block 4 - Practical case based on real or fictional projects
The RNCP certification is awarded at the end of the programme once all graduation requirements defined by the institution have been fulfilled.
The Tech MBA cycle concludes with a “Skills Week,” featuring various assessments designed to demonstrate the acquisition of competencies related to the professional certification targeted by the programme.
Certification assessments are always conducted individually.

Employment Rate
The success rate is 77% for the RNCP qualification Business Strategy Consultant (CSE) in 2024 (Most recent data published on the France Compétences website). The employment rate in 2022 is 100%, 6 months after obtaining the qualification.
Dropout Rate
The programme interruption rate for PST&B apprentices is 0% during the 2023–24 academic year.

Specific indicators are calculated by the French ministries responsible for vocational training and National Education and are available on the following website: https://www.inserjeunes.education.gouv.fr/diffusion/accueil.
PST&B and ESG Executive launched this specialization in 2024; the first cohorts of the Tech MBA will therefore be certified in 2025.

FAQ: Tech MBA in Paris
You can apply at any time throughout the year. The admission process is swift: it begins with our educational advisors validating your prerequisites to ensure your profile aligns with the chosen program. Once your eligibility is confirmed, you'll have an interview with the program director to assess your personality, understanding of the desired role or sector, motivations, and professional objectives.
- Hold a Bac +4 degree (equivalent to a four-year bachelor's degree) with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- Hold a Bac +2 degree (equivalent to a two-year associate degree) with at least 7 years of professional experience. A limited number of spots are reserved for recent graduates holding a Bac +5 degree (equivalent to a master's degree).
The Tech MBA is conducted in person in Paris at the PST&B Campus in the 11th arrondissement. This setting promotes interactions and exchanges between learners and professional instructors, providing a valuable opportunity to develop and strengthen your professional network. It is not possible to attend these sessions remotely from other regions or abroad.
The MBA is an international high-level degree (Bac +4/5) in business management. It is a state-recognized Level 7 certification, equivalent to a Master's degree, and validates 60 ECTS credits over 3 semesters.
The MBA is designed for professionals with experience, while the Master's degree targets recent graduates. The MBA offers a cross-disciplinary education focused on business and international management, whereas the Master's degree is more specialized in a specific field.
In France, the average starting salary for a MBA graduate ranges from €32,000 to €38,000 gross annually. With experience, it can reach between €42,000 and €60,000 gross per year. Generally, obtaining a MBA leads to a salary increase of 20% to 30%.
